Follow the steps below to create an intense blue-black result as seen in this season’s Genderless trend – perfect for shorter crop styles:

Colors Used:

 

Color 1

IGORA VARIO BLOND Plus mixed with 3% IGORA ROYAL Oil Developer 1:2.

Use FIBREPLEX N°1 Bond Booster according to instructions. After rinsing FIBREPLEX N°2 Bond Sealer should be applied.

 

Color 2

IGORA ROYAL 1-1 mixed with 3% IGORA ROYAL Oil Developer.

 

Color 3

IGORA ColorWorx Blue (no developer required with direct hair colors).

 

Color 4

IGORA ColorWorx Blue (no developer required with direct hair colors).

 

Color 5

IGORA ColorWorx Green (no developer required with direct hair colors).

 

Color 6

IGORA ColorWorx Purple (no developer required with direct hair colors).

 

Step 1: Color 1 

 

Step 1

Working at the front of the head, apply color 1 using a brickwork pattern technique. Weave back-to-back slices with foil and secure out of the way. 

 

Step 2: All Over Color

 

Step 2

Starting at the roots, apply color 2 to the rest of the hair from roots to tips.

 

Step 3: Diffused Color Highlights 

 

Step 3

Finally, working back at the front of the head, create back-to-back slices with foil using colors 3, 4 and 5. To create a diffused color result, try alternating colors 3, 4 and 5 within each slice.
